At McCormick Methodist Church, we believe in the power of community and kindness, as exemplified by the inspiring story of Bill Moczulewski. Despite being legally blind, Bill's determination to walk 5 miles each way to his job as a janitor at Walmart touched the heart of Christy Conrad. Her kindness sparked the creation of "Mr. Bill’s Village" on Facebook, where over 1,500 people have volunteered to drive Bill to work. This story is a testament to the goodness that exists in our world, and a reminder that we can all make a difference.
We also believe in seeing God in everyday acts of kindness. Just like the stranger who stopped on Highway 378 to change a tire for a stranded family, we strive to embody God's love and compassion in our actions.

"Wished I lived closer. If attend. I take art lessons There for right now . I talk with pastor going in and going out. I asked him to talk to me 1day and said he would when my pastor said he didn't need to even talk to me ! That hurt ,!? I was married to a minister for 32 years and he never ever told anyone that he did not even want to talk to them. !!"
"Very Traditional Church. We have not joined as of yet. Today was our second visit. The Pastor Nell's Nelsledwell makes it a place you want to return to. As a guitarist I wanted to try something more Contemporary. However my wife Loved St John's in Augusta prior to moving to SLV and it has that feel. Promise you will feel welcomed."
