"It's a good place to work I been here for a yr and 6 months during that time I got in a little trouble but my boss man look out for me and nobody even touch my truck while I was gone can't complain about them good family oriented place he got otr, log trucks and dump trucks for I know otr trucks does not go far at all"

"Still currently employed at Boatright Trucking in Alma. One of the very few trucking companies moving freight in and out of Florida. Most trucks are 2010 or newer and all have Qual Comms, Cattle Bumpers, APU's, Drive Cams, PrePass, and Sunpass. However, drivers when 1st hired MUST sign the policy book or no job. There it is stated that drivers only get paid for what they do, Thats it, no other benefits. No pto/sick pay, no holiday pay, no vacation pay, no benefits at all. I spoke to the owner about it several times starting two years ago and well got an eloquent song and dance. If you require time off you have to give dispatch a weeks notice in writing or you are expected to work. For the most part people here are friendly. Don't take it personal if the head shop manager walks passed you without saying a word to you even though your waiting to get you truck serviced. They're over stressed. I even been yelled at by the safety manager for covering my inside cam camera, never like people taking pictures of me (even though I have never had an accident ever.) I have been awarded 4 years safe driver and been with Boatright now 5 years. Oh i was incorrect, i just remembered that drivers get $50.00 per year of service to the company as their Christmas bonus. :-/"
