"This location is closed, apparently since June of 24. It says to go to the one in Augusta"
"This is the most slow office that you can ever deal with with unemployment. Unemployment services should be handled in an emergency type of way. There’s no organization and they are old and don’t know what they’re doing and I submitted a complaint to the Big office in Atlanta and called the Governor’s office."
"The worst Labor department I have experienced. It's so ironic how Mark Butler and Senator Kemp are reimplementing these stipulations. Yet have yet to make their labor department workers go back to work. There aren't any available slots on Monday no matter how early you get up. There are never ringing phones instead you get a automated message to leave a message. In which your call is likely to not get returned. With all the complaints GA gets and has gotten it's hard to believe those numbers for turn around times. I honestly don't care what system issues they're facing or staff issues they're facing because the only time they're wanting people to be considerate is when they're at fault. I bet if someone owes them or needed to pay them they wouldnt have any compassion. This particular office is just downright despicable and disrespectful. I have recordings of the calls I make to them to only get their system message and screenshot every Monday to try to receive a appointment. I will be sending to Mark Butler and Kemp so they can see just how contradictive they sound, ESPECIALLY Mark Butler. We need to get Mark out and someone in who has compassion and will make workers work, as Mark has so desperately said about the rest of us."
""Thank you for calling the Department to Labor Thomson career center. We are busy helping other customers. Your call is important to us...." Yeah... sure can tell calls are important. Completed my id verification 3 weeks ago and I am still locked out of my account. No email to get back into my UI. Can't claim benefits. Can't get anyone to answer or even return my call... I have worked through this whole "pandemic." As a waitress only making $2.13 an hour and customers not tipping, my unemployment helped pay my bills.... Thanks Georgia!! Thanks Thomson center!!! And thanks to the non-tippers!!! I'm about to lose everything... ridiculous!!!"
"I suffered a stroke then followed with a seizure due to that I had to separate from my job I filled for unemployment 2 months ago. I can't reach anyone this is really bad I came even afford my meds or barely eat and keep up with bills. My claim still says pending and I can't speak to no one to figure it out this is so wrong on so many levels. Just going to let us all die and this money I worked hard for."
