"The Tiffany windows are a must see. And they also have a beautiful 100 year old Seth Thomas clock in the big room."
"I went to the Library to get some work done and the employee's were so nice and helpful."
"Wonderful library especially in the older brick building section with the stained glass. Staff is helpful any there a books for all interests. Facility is managing the pandemic well with sensible requirements. Well worth a stop if you are doing a walking tour."
"The Mary Willis Library in Washington, GA is an absolutely charming place staffed by such friendly people. I recently spent several days in Washington being sheltered by friends after having to evacuate the Georgia coast due to Hurricane Matthew. Having access to this library and books to read helped fill the anxious hours until I was able to return home. It was also delightful to tour the Mary Willis Library, which is the first free public library in the state of Georgia, built in the Queen Anne style in 1889. It even has stained glass windows. I enjoyed my visit very much."
"I love this library. It's a historic emblem of how cool Washington, Georgia is. They have tours with guides that will explain everything about the libraries history. Free WI-FI with higher speeds than McDonald's. Beautiful Georgia woman stroll the area at all times of the day. The girls around here are the type you want to take home to mama and make babies with. Also near by is a gas station with great deals on beer and blunts. Across the street from the station you can talk to the local mechanics and score some marijuana. Near by are historic slave houses where the local kids drink beer and do drugs, then they all go down to the library and surf the net. I would recomend stopping at this local library if you ever find yourself hitchhiking through. At night it's low security so you can actually sleep in the back or climb on the roof for safety purposes. I have met a local home bum that actually lives in the back alley of the library. Out front faces the back of a bank, it's kinda easy to get away with burning a joint on the bench while you take a break from being inside. Their bathrooms are emaculate and private enough to be able to clean up if you're homeless. A+++++"
