"Seems convenient but . . . The keys that I chose for the copies did not copy correctly. One set was not only obviously cut wrong on visual inspection, but was also razor sharp to the point of dangerous. Weirdly, the free extra key (buy 2, get 1 free) was correct for both keys I copied. I went on line to request a refund since I had to get the keys remade by the human at the in-store key machine before I even left the store, and the "send" button wanted me to open some app rather than just submit the form. So I had to call the customer service number. They were able to pull up both purchases, the one for which I'd gotten a receipt as well as the one for which I failed to get a receipt, so that was helpful. They indicated a refund in progress. While the emails I got from this phone call looked to be just receipts of the original order, I do see the refunds in progress on my credit card. I was sorely disappointed with the quality of the copies. I encourage you to just use the in-person people at the hardware store unless you're choosing the plain brass key. The free brass key I got with each order for purchasing two keys was the only one that worked."

"As I was making my keys, a Lowe’s employee came by. I just asked a brief question; he informed me that Lowe’s cuts keys FREE! What? The Minute Key was placed right by the door. IF you need it quickly go for it, BUT I was disappointed I didn’t use Lowe’s. Would have been less $$."
