"Next to Scott Credit Union, Woodforest is one of the worst banks I've ever experienced. Rude employees, incompetent employees that will cancel your debit card, tell you the replacement is free and still charge you a whole $15 to replace when they are the ones who cancelled your card. Not to mention the fact that you have to go inside ghetto Walmart to get to the branch, their reps are argumentative and just flat out unprofessional. I'll go to Chase. Woodforest isn't worth banking with!"

"I love Woodforest Bank! They have a second change banking account to restore your banking history if you’ve had discrepancies in the past. It’s basically for people who are denied an opportunity to open an account elsewhere due to prior bank accounts that may be delinquent and closed . They also have an awesome loan system for people who bank with them where you can withdraw up to 500 and set up a payback schedule and pay every month until you owe nothing! It’s considered a separate account & it’s super awesome if you’re short on cash and don’t want to have a negative balance . They do charge a small monthly fee if you have less than 100 in your account per month or don’t have a direct deposit set up. Otherwise , awesome employees and awesome bank !"
