"Great statue of one of the favorite Popeye characters. The inspiration for Whimpy was the creator Elsie Crisler Segar's boss in town at the local theater, William "Bill" Schuchert. The statue is in a nice gazebo garden area with a large mural of the Popeye characters. The Popeye museum and collectibles shop is next to it also."
