Discover Life Church - Perryville

"Today was my first time, and my mother's second time attending this church. The people are very friendly but not overbearing like you get in some churches. It's been years since I've been in church and I throughly enjoyed this one. It's very contemporary and more friendly towards today's church goers. There is no fancy dress code, I wore jeans and fit right in. I have back and hip issues and worried about being uncomfortable. No hard pews but nicely padded, comfortable chairs. They offer two different services and I understand both were packed. Not your typical hymnal church, in fact I didn't even see any hymnals. The praise team on stage was awesome and the words were listed on the big screen on the wall. Younger pastor with a good message and good sense of humor. This church checked all the boxes for me. Unfortunately I will only be able to attend every other week because of my schedule but I am very much looking forward to my next visit. I'm hoping I have found a new church family I didn't know I needed until today."

"Today was my second day at this church and I love it. Truly the nicest people I have met. I have been out of church for a while and looking for a new church family and I believe I found it. I was nervous coming by myself with my two young children on the first day, but as soon as we stepped in people came up to help me find the nursery and show me how to check them in. Some didn't even work there, they were just being kind. They were filing out the paperwork for me because my hands were full with my babies and even offered to hold them while I did. ( they only didn't because my children were in a new place and unsure of the friendly new strangers). If you are looking for a Church I would highly recommend this one."
