"Coming to CrossFit OC3 was one of the best decisions I’ve made. I am completely new to CrossFit and am, quite frankly, very out of shape and obese, This didn’t phase the staff one bit! The trainers help me scale each workout to movements that I can actually do safely, while still pushing me to my limits for some of the most intense, but best workouts of my life. Safety and proper form are top priorities for these folks and it shows, from the on-ramp classes, to Trainer Zach coaching me on my lifts, taking the time to explain muscle contraction mechanics and the benefits of time under tension during my workout, reminding me that slow and steady is the safest, and most beneficial way to lift. Furthermore, I’ve never been to a fitness center and felt so welcomed and reassured by a more compassionate, knowledgeable staff. If you’re new and on the fence about CrossFit because you’re not in athletic shape, don’t let that stop you, just get in there and do it. Don’t give up on yourself, and the staff won’t either."
