"I have been going to this pool for 7 years. Tonight was the first time we decided to “close down” the pool and stay until it closed. I went and asked to make sure that they close at 6:30 because I know there are times when it doesn’t always close at that time due to birthdays (which we’ve done), swim meets, and various events. Well tonight we were forced out at 6:23. This was not brought to my attention when I asked what time they closed that they actually make people exit the pool at 6:23. My 5 year old just wanted to go down the slide one more time and she was yelled at forcefully by a male lifeguard. I was absolutely appalled especially since there were at least 10 other people not even trying to get out of the pool. I was shocked and pissed. There was no courtesy announcement about needing to get out in 5 minutes or whatever other pools do. Nothing, just “get out”! I couldn’t even warn my child or allow her that time to go down the slide. She is 5 years old and she was devastated that not only she couldn’t go down the slide but that she was yelled at!!! I’m pissed that I have a season pass at this point and there should be announcements made regarding the actual “closing” of the pool. Not to mention, the lifeguards are now just playing around after close. I get that’s part of the job, but it’s like they are running it in our faces. I’m so upset that they had no regard or respect for a child!"

"Waste management forgot my house when handing out the new trash bins. I called the village and asked for one and they said they would take care of it promptly."
