"Tried to get a copy of my birth certificate so I can get a new ID. I could barely explain the situation without the rude old lady that was there. I was not aware that you needed a photo ID or two pieces of mail, my mom has gotten birth certificates for other people and never needed that. Not to mention, I didn't see it anywhere on the website. She then proceeded to tell me "well, you should call before coming." I DID, NO ONE ANSWERED. Then she so rudely said "the office isn't open on Saturdays, that's why they didn't answer. It's sad that we can't have kind people taking care of the citizens in this country."

"When I realized on a Saturday morning my son's birth certificate for our cruise the following day was missing, I figured that was it and we wouldn't be able to board the boat. We found STL City Vital Records is open Saturdays 9-1. When I got there, at first I was confused because the parking lot to City Hall was closed and when I called no one answered the phone so I figured it was a mistake and they were closed. BUT you just need to park on the street (no parking lot) and walk to the front door entrance facing Tucker Boulevard to get in! The woman working was an angel and so kind and got our certificate printed immediately. Thank you for saving our family vaca!"
