"Used the (required) mobile park app to reserve a $23 spot at 5:30 PM, for an event at Stifel Theater that started at 7:30 PM (was supposed to meet other guests at 6:30 PM). Got to the parking lot at 6:15, since I knew the Stifel was just across the street so would have plenty of time to be there by 6:30. Wrong! Apparently the parking lot thinks it's OK to double-book and screw over the customers. There was a 4:00 PM Blues game still going on and it had not ended yet. Despite the fact that we had a confirmed reservation that started 45 minutes earlier, and there were visible spots available (as we saw many people leaving the game early), they would not let us in. One car was parked in front of us in line for the gate, with two apathetic "attendants" shut up in the booth, sharing no communication and doing nothing to help with the ever-growing line of cars behind us. We sat in our car waiting for over an hour, ultimately the parking attendants were letting the entire Blues game crowd leave and wouldn't let a single person in until the entire lot was empty. No one directing traffic, only one way in and one way out, terrible organization. Actually not any organization at all. Tons of cars lined up behind us in the street blocking traffic as well as a result. Even worse, after we (finally) were able to park, we discovered that there were MULTIPLE entrances/exits to the lot that could have easily been used so that exiting cars could be directed one way and entering cars through the line we were in. Why were these closed off? Why were the attendants doing nothing? Oh, and when we got out after the event, the lot was deserted--no one keeping an eye on the cars, all the different entrances opened, just a total free-for-all. On the bright side, we didn't have to wait for anyone to open a gate to let us out so it was fairly quick. What is the point of reserving a spot if it's not accessible for two hours after the reservation time? SMH."
"Why is it they come for you so hard on personal property taxes yet allow many to drive with expired plates no insurance because the car isn't registered. I've had my insurance go high sky because of these non actions of the city government and stop with the Defund Police, that's why crime has gone out of control. Then drain you even harder with personal income taxes never enough but they get outrageous raises."
"It took almost 30 minutes just to leave the parking lot. Only one gate was working."
