"Kudos for whoever cleaned up this plot of land with a nice area to sit."
"I recommend spending your lunch breaks here, maybe after stopping at one of the food trucks on Market Street. This two acre garden/park is across the street from the Eagleton Courthouse in downtown St. Louis. A symmetrical interlacing of stone-edged gravel paths and grass parterres, set in a larger grid of mature London Plane trees which forms an ornamental qarden. It is bordered by shade trees and custom made sculptural cast iron benches. The extension of the garden in the southeast corner continues the grid of the trees with additional plantings, providing a pastoral contrast to the formal garden. It's an oasis in the sterile collection of city concrete."
