"We enjoyed our visit to the National Blues Museum. In fact, this was our first stop on our trip from MN. As a music teacher, I'm so glad this place exists. Very cool exhibits with great information about history. Awesome profile of perhaps lesser known but vital musicians. There was a very cool interactive element via music-making stations positioned throughout the space. Unfortunately, many of them were out of order when we visited, so we only got to experience about half of them. These are definitely worth checking out. The employees we chatted with were very friendly and welcoming. We spent about an hour there. Street parking just outside, but other parking options nearby within a short walk. Great for those with mobility needs. The National Blues Museum is high on my list of St. Louis recommendations. Check it out!"
"Very nice exbits and artwork. Well done history of blues in America. Self guided tour takes about 45 min. to a hour. I gave this only 3 stars because I think the entry price of $30. is a little steep and I was hoping to pick up something form the gift shop but it had little to nothing of interest to purchase."
"Outside of the STL Center were 579, Merry-Go-Round, Wilson's, J. Riggins etc... but, we are JAMMIN' outside right now!!! Great breeze along the cori-doors & great company, good atmosphere & ppl singing along....the reasons we are here 'Tim Cunningham' he brings ppl out!!"
"Great museum with innovative interactive exhibits. Unfortunately a few of them were out of commission. But still an educational and fun visit. There's also a BBQ restaurant in the building - go eat before you leave."
"I loved everything about this museum. The history, the art, the fun activities. The only disappointment I had was that all the stations to create our own blues album weren't working, so I never got my completed album via email even though we did all the working stations. They do a curated gallery that one can only assume they change out with new artists. It is a fairly new addition to downtown. Take it all in, watch all the videos, take lots of pictures, and read all the history. Well worth the admissions fee, but you do get $5 off admission if you eat at Sugarfire (attached) BEFORE you visit the museum (see the bottom of your food receipt)."
