"Once I figured out that the megabus bus will start from gate 10 at greyhound bus area all good"
"I’m literally going on every review page I can to ensure no one else goes through the awful headache I did with this bus service. I showed up to the bus station about 45 minutes early for my 3:30am bus so I wouldn’t miss it if they tried to leave early. They show up 45 minutes late to the terminal. I tried asking around the terminal to see if anyone knew the status of this bus, but there was not one rep for megabus present at all. I tried giving customer service a call but nothing the entire 45 minutes until the bus came. Freaking out because I have a set engagement to get to, I tried buying a ticket with greyhound instead around 4:10, WHO IS MUCH MORE RELIABLE HERE BTW, but ended up getting a refund for that because that’s when the megabus showed up 5 minutes later. Finally getting on the bus and the bus driver was just rude and very short on words when I was asking him questions about my baggage and boarding. Now getting into the bus, it smells like this thing hasn’t been cleaned in the past year. Please save yourself the headache and just fly, drive, or take the Amtrak."
"horrible experience with your customer service. the communication is inaccurate and no one can help you find out any information if you are travelling after business hours because no one answers the phone. The customer service wait time is at least an hour for any number that you dial during business hours. With Megabus you are in jeapordy of missing your bus due to lack of accurate communication you do not know if your bus is not going to arrive on time, or whether it will be arriving too early, or if their own bus drivers will give out the wrong information. The driver of another Megabus said i missed the bus, even though i was outside where the buses pull in waiting for my bus: then i receive an email 2 hrs later saying the bus was arriving around 45 mins late. So my night consisted of standing there and waited, asking a driver, then missing the late bus???? Could not reach anyone to find out what was REALLY going on until 5am and my tickets were for2am. The customer service does not care! i was travelling for medical reasons and my son was excited to ride a double decker bus. we even had reserved seats. i couldnt remove the 1 star you all deserve 0 stars."
"Absolutely worst bus service and pathetic customer response. The call center is handled by some Asians who can't even speak proper English. Had a harrowing experience with them as booked tickets on Christmas day only to learn on the day of departure that service is cancelled. Travel Greyhound they are the best and more reliable."
"Oh god, I don't understand everyone else's reviews, but I just want to say that I had a terrible experience with this Bus. First of all, from being picked up to being dropped off, we were at least 3 hours late from original time of arrival. We were meant to be picked up at a certain time, but they told us to expect a 45 min delay. Halfway through my journey from St. Louis to Dallas, we stop for a, supposedly 90 minutes, for the bus to get a regular maintenance check. That is normal, but the awful part was that we were dropped off around 9:30 pm, at some sketchy station, and we didn't get back to our bus for 3 HOURS. Yep, we didn't get back on until 12:30. It wasn't just me who was angry, but everyone was P.O., some there were calling them asking where the hell our bus was at and the Megabus people didn't know. Apart from the delays, some of the employees (not all) just handle your luggage so poorly. I had bought two souvenir items while in Texas, making sure they were cushioned, and I get home to find out they had shattered. Yep, it turns out that my bag had been laying on the ground on its side so awkwardly because someone didn't want to gently put it on the ground. Thanks. Also, they leave the AC on all night so make sure to bring a blanket if you dont want to freeze, and bring a good pillow. 1.5/10. Not happy."
