"I've rented two moving trucks from here, and both times the friendly owner got me squared away quickly. He didn't have the 2nd rental in the size I reserved, so he upgraded the size of the truck for free."
"I've been renting a space here for a long time. What I like: Friendly people, helpful, easy to work with, accommodates getting to storage with use of pallet jack, carts. Indoor storage is mostly a good thing (but not all's perfect). Because it is co-located with Budget truck rental, it makes getting your stuff from storage to truck and vice-versa extremely convenient and easy (the best feature), because it's far enough away from downtown, parking isn't an issue while you are at the facility and it's still close enough to be convenient to home - I did some pricing around downtown St. Louis, this is by far the cheapest place per square foot for indoor storage - that in itself makes all else worth it. Although this is cage-style storage with open top access, I feel like my stuff is secure in this building, and the facility uses cameras all over the place. What is weird: I've had billing issues that don't make a lot of sense. Overall, it's pretty straightforward. (Issues like: readjusting my billing to the first of the month, but calculating the days of the month wrong so to get the bill to the first of the month was the wrong amount. Got my address wrong, corrected it, then later reverted back to the wrong address again. On site does not handle the billing, I guess it is contracted out or someone else does it so if you have billing issues, it isn't taken care of on site. Weird. What isn't so good, at least for me: Hours are pretty limited. If you work a day job Monday - Friday, you might find it difficult to get here when the place is open. However, I guess a lot of storage places in St. Louis are like this so you probably won't have any better luck elsewhere, either. This place has a serious rodent problem. If you are storing anything like clothes, records, CDs, rodent-tasty boxes -- banker's boxes for example, or packed food storage in boxes that are not completely sealed in plastic containers, expect it to be eaten and soiled upon by rodents. My CD cases, banker's boxes, books, Styrofoam containers and packing, and clothes have been eaten and soiled upon by rodents -- a couple of boxes were almost completely eaten right around the contents. This location would be better storage for furniture and non-paper products, metal, steel or plastic-secured storage containers in order to keep your stuff safe. Although indoor storage, apparently only the lower floor is heated and or cooled. Storage is on the 2nd and 3rd floors, and is not further climate controlled, so it can get pretty darn warm in the storage area in the summer and pretty chilly in the winter, but at least it is not zero climate controlled."
