"Wow I been in line over a hour only to get to the window and the receptionist to tell me after 3 pm they are in able to put ppl in the system it’s 3:32 pm this is crazy and the system needs help."
"This is seriously the most useless organization I have ever dealt with. The fact that you have to wait 3+ hours to even talk to anyone about the status of insurance is absolutely ridiculous. When you do finally get through to someone they don't help you, they can't help you, they transferred you or they have severe attitudes. They can't even help unlock your account to see the status. The website doesn't work well (they say it's because they are doing updates) they dnt answer because they say they are short staffed. I work a full time job. I literally have to request off hours just to be able to get a hold of someone. They dnt mail the info out. You can upload everything they need, do everything they need of you step by step yet they still can't get back to you. All I request was secondary insurance through the state because I do qualify and Im pregnant. Why not have the state help when primary insurance doesn't cover much. I am now 7 months pregnant and still haven't been accepted. A simple yes or no would suffice. Dear God get it together dss. If y'all are that short staffed THEN HIRE MORE PEOPLE and drop your attitudes, make the hiring process easier. Idk but answer the phone, have it fix the accounts problems, and accept or deny the application (let people know the status) instead of wasting people's time. I have called 4+ times and been on hold for more than 10 hours total. You can start calling at 655 AM and still hold 3 hours. GET IT TOGETHER"
"They run this place pretty good. U may incur a line but, is disabled they let u sit down til it's your turn. I suggest getting there around 130ish. Then u get your business done much quicker. If u get there at 11, u will wait til after 3 anyway. So trust when I tell u. Just go at 1ish, or when doors open at 8am but there's a line at that time. So hope this helps u dealing with the state."
"This is the worst division of family services I've ever been to. The whole staff was unprofessional rude disrespectful. I got here around 2:00 in the afternoon the building don't close until 5:00 I'm staying in line of four people in front of me for an hour and a half when they finally called me to a window they tell me that they stop seeing people at 3:00. I'm in the middle of doing chemotherapy and radiation I came straight from my appointment as sick as a dog I waited and wasted my time for no reason whatsoever it's impossible to get a hold of anyone here this is by far the most unprofessional government agency I've ever dealt with. The lady at the front desk was too busy running her mouth talking to her friends and what not instead of doing her job and calling people up to the front like she should have. Hire some new employees because the ones you have working in this office don't need to be in customer service or work anywhere with people that need assistance whatsoever highly disappointed with Missouri government agency division of family services on chouteau!!!!"
"Sat on hold for almost 3 hours!! THREE HOURS.. was transferred 4 times, just to end up at the 1st number I originally called, because nobody knows how to do their job and this is the 5th time I’ve had to deal with this! Every time I am told oh the last person didn’t finish processing the application! That story is getting old!!! I just want to get my Medicaid taken care of, too much to ask?? I’m under the care of a cardiologist since heart surgery and I sure can’t afford to pay $1000.00 every visit. Glad tax dollars are going to pay worthless people to work for government agencies!! What a freaking joke"
