"Excellent service from the phone customer service representatives. They are knowledgable and helpful. They provide proper guidance, to obtain your SF50 and military records. This is processed and mailed out expeditiously."
"I’ve been trying to get my DD-214 for the last 7 years now and these people don’t want to help at all. Incredibly ridiculous."
"Customer service is nonexistent...Customer service number will not get you to a service rep, it's just a big do loop. Does ANYONE know how email or have a phone that will actually get you to a person."
"All the call center is , is an automated voice that sends you around in loops. It is ridiculous how you cannot get a hold of anyone let alone get someone to do their job finding records you know should be there instead being told in a letter that they are not with the NPRC and with the VA. Then the VA says NPRC has the records. Would be nice to get answers!"
"Don't bother wasting your time and money on a stamp to mail in a request for information on deceased family that served and died for this country. This taxpayer funded agency will just send you an automated letter saying they couldn't find anything. I tried to call, was 70 min wait, I requested a call back. Was told they can't help me, even with their bdays and death dates and their plot IDs in Arlington. Found more information on my grandfathers who were both Captains in the Army in WW1 and 2 using Google in about an hour. As usual- thanks for nothing US government and you're welcome for the 40% of my pay you take."
