"Despite what the USPS website and customer service call system say, this location does not offer passport services. I scheduled an appointment 5 days prior and upon arrival I was informed that service is not offered there. "We forgot to call you.""
"Horrible customer service. I went to post office to receive a package that required signature. After a very long wait, the employee would not allow me to leave with the package after being rude. Their equipment (tablet) wasn't working properly so I was unable to sign. Instead of using another tablet or allowing me to manually sign, I was refused service. Wasted time taking off work to try to retrieve package."
"The laziest workers EVER. They don't want to help, they don't care. The whole place smells. Major attitude from everyone there, especially the ladies at the front counter. I don't know what happened to the staff that used to be there or the mail carriers they used to have but I wish they'd come back. Service now sucks!!! ZERO. Postmaster does not care either, the Lemay post office is the worst post office hands down."
"I agree with many of the reviews for this location. My household has endured everything from theft to mail being put in the wrong mailbox, to the carrier refusing to bring packages to our doors. If I order something, I expect it to be delivered to the appropriate mail box or to the correct door. Instead they leave a "sorry we missed you" ticket in the box, or leave it outside in a location where it can be stolen. Missed me how? No one came to the door or even attempted to deliver the packages. So I'm expected to go to the post office to get a pkg I paid to have delivered to me. Mail arriving months to years after the post mark date. Some of which is time sensitive mail, causing us to miss deadline. Another issue, birthday or holiday cards often come late and opened. On one occasion a gift card my mom put in the card wasn't in the card or envelope. The envelope was opened like a person opens mail, not from damage caused during delivery. The following month the $ scratch off my friend sent in an card was missing. As I noticed the trend, I called to complain about theft, I was told that thicker envelopes get caught in the machine at the distribution center and sometimes what is inside falls out. I'd believe that if my mail, that is much thicker, arrived torn open as well. Or, that it occurred with cards that we received when first moved here. Our carrier then was great. He kept a regular DAILY schedule, he never put mail in the wrong box, any pkg that didn't fit in the parcels box he brought to the door--no issue with doing it, he was professional and friendly. Now over the last few years service has declined tremendously. I was told they're not required to bring packages to the door, if they "miss us", we have to go pick it up. Why Amazon is giving them packages is beyond me, because even the smallest packages are delivered to our door by Amazon or a contracted service. I have many things set up for delivery (due to not having a vehicle at the moment). It's pointless if I have to pay a ride to go pick them up. I cannot wait to move. Hopefully, wherever that is has a better PO, staff, & carriers."
