"I had 2 scopes there with no issues. Staff was nice, procedure went off without a hitch. I was taken into a small room, told what was found and all of my questions were answered. I am having issues now and have been trying to get the cost for the procedure as I no longer have insurance. Would rather pay to go there instead of somewhere else for free"
"The nurses and doctor seemed nice and understanding of my anxieties before the procedure but did not listen to my requests or give good aftercare. I had bands placed and went to the restroom directly after and one fell out immediately, i asked about this and they said it’s okay probably just because it was a small hemorrhoid. The second one fell off a few days later and I called to mention my excessive pain and bleeding and was told that they shouldn’t be falling off this early. So the stuff I was told wasn’t consistent between staff which doesn’t make me feel confident at all and before I signed the consent for the banding I clearly said to NOT band them if they are small and are not constricting or causing a blockage. And now they are saying to treat it with medicine and OTC stuff, so if they weren’t bad enough for me to need the procedure twice and I can be okay with just medication they clearly shouldn’t have done any banding at all per my request. And the stuff they are prescribing now is just topical stuff to treat the symptoms and when I asked how it treated hemorrhoids she kept repeating the same thing that didn’t answer the question so I just gave up on getting an idea of how it works for hemorrhoids other than just “pain”"
"We can't get them to pick up the phone. Have called several times for test results, but at best we get forwarded to the nurses line voicemail and never a callback. We can't proceed with next steps until this office returns our calls."
"Every time I’m in this office my impression is trying to do too much with too little. It’s just my perception and instead of patient care it becomes patient cattle drive. Thank you for your response and I can say my experience on day of procedure was excellent, back room care was thorough and timely on all aspects. The main thing I think needs improving is check in process for first time consult to be more HIPPA compliant details should not be shared verbally there in reception and when getting medical history I’d suggest sending people back to waiting room until information is shared instead of lining them up. Medications and medical hx need to have a little more privacy or just wait to get it when back for pre-consult. Otherwise very professional."
"Office is oldish and whole place is small. Overall screening procedure was quick and easy. Receptionist was abrupt and barely talked. Started out on an emergency room style area. Beds close together with nothing but currents around the hospital bed. I felt very uncomfortable changing in such an open environment, had to listen to personal info as they checked in others next to me. Then rolled me into another room for the procedure and the only smile I got was from the anesthesiologist. Then when I was woken after the procedure, had to walk to a bathroom by myself while still very wobbly to change. After that sat in a very small narrow room for the dr report. He stood in the doorway and gave me my results. The whole thing felt very impersonal, like an assembly line which I hated. Only good saving grace was the awesome nurses. They were very professional and actually spoke to me as if I were a human, they were very nice. Not a place I would return to though. Thankfully results were good and I will not need another for 10 years."
