"My family has been in Zion for 100 years. It had recently changed management & the grounds are remarkably improved. The manager, CiCi, was extremely helpful when I inquired about the flower program. She is a kind & caring person & will do everything to ensure your loved ones are respectively taken care of in their final resting place."
"I came upon Zion Cemetery after the loss of my only son Anthony. This was something that I never expected because no parent expects to lose a child. I went cemetery shopping all up and down Saint Charles Rock Road and I found Zion Cemetery. Pastor Cee Cee the Director of Zion Cemetery refers to it as “her cemetery.” Pastor Cee Cee is very hands-on. She is compassionate to the families that she serves and she does everything she can to help and assist “her families” as she calls us. There is a Brand New Columbarium at Zion Cemetery and there are plans for adding more along with adequate lighting. Pastor Cee Cee makes sure that there are seasonal events at Zion. For Memorial Day she made sure that flags would be placed at my son’s final resting place. That touched me and it meant so much to me. When there were problems with vagrants who were frequenting the cemetery Pastors Cee Cee was quick to resolve this issue so that families would feel safe, secure, and comfortable while visiting their loved ones. There are amenities readily available for people who wish to walk the cemetery grounds and walk their dogs while they are at Zion as well as plans for interment of beloved pets. My son Anthony would have appreciated that because he was a dog lover. I am so glad that even though this is something that I never thought that I would have to do that I went cemetery shopping one day for my only son and found Zion Cemetery. I thank Pastor Cee Cee and I am appreciative of everything that she does to take care of our loved ones and our families."
"The cemetery is in a very sad state. My grandparents are buried here so I came to see and record their grave. The place was overgrown, gravestones knocked down everywhere, trees and branches laying around and the grass not mowed. I had called before I visited a couple of times, but never received an answer. I knew my grandparents were here because of the site, Find A Grave. No one was at the house so I looked around and section markers were missing and there was no way to understand a direction. Finally one of the men who worked there came and he brought me into the house and the records are still on paper books. This is the worst cemetery I have visited that has any of my St. Louis relatives buried in."
