"Came here after injuring/breaking my fingers on a rope swing and then carrying on with a 7 hour rafting trip. Everyone was really nice, caring and diligent! Someone put a blanket on me and everyone offered to help me hold stuff :) I arrived at 9:40 on a Sunday night and I left at 2:30 but in that time they checked on me, took x-rays, etc. I think that the wait is to be expected if it’s not something life-threatening especially because, even in the waiting room, you are in a place where they won’t let anything terrible happen to you. I don’t want to go back, because it’s the ER, but if I had to I would go back to this one!"
"I went here on July 18, 2024, on Friday morning at about 10 am an the triage was very quick and getting in a er room was very good they moved me to another room later after I found out I was being admitted still in the er but a more of a private room was in there a day probably then got me a regular room upstairs, all the nurses and doctors I encountered were very concerned about me an kept my pain under control from the very beginning until I was discharged to my home The only bad thing I can say is the house keeping sucks they should do a better job I ended up with bed bugs from this hospital"
"6 hours waiting for a doc or just for a Review . Tuesday 2 ,2024 I was disrespectby nurses staff charge nurse told me I didn't need a wheelchair even though I told her it was very painful for me to wall or stand. Then she wanted Argue about her disrespect then . Tell me well your don't have anything broken so I'm fine. After being at home in pain my Primary care told me to go back to the emergency room. Return back yet b j c only to wait Six more hours. This is crazy for anyone .. It only made the pain worse. They have to do better"
"The staff here are a joke. Lyft drivers are not taxis. Nurse put a patient in my car, told me her full name (we shouldn't know that info), and sent me off to a rehab center that was gated without any info on how to get into it. The passenger was incoherent and had no phone, said, "They didn't tell me anything about that." I'm a good guy and didn't want to leave her stranded while she was clearly going through it, so I took it upon myself to try to figure out where we even were and what the phone number for this rehab center was. (I'm a driver, not a delivery person, nor a babysitter). She started asking me to take her to other addresses, which I was absolutely uncomfortable with. Also would have been unpaid. (Again, this is my job, and that's stealing money from my pocket). I was forced to take her back, unpaid, which could have easily turned into a sketchy or hostile situation because I have a stranger in my car with no information. I get back there and find the case worker, a woman with blonde hair. She could not have cared less about the situation. Just kept telling me "well we didn't order the lyft. It was the rehab center." OK? I never said you did. It was YOUR nurse who put her in MY car with no information for ME - the person driving and obviously tasked with getting into the parking lot to drop her off - on how to get through the gate for where you're sending me. If you didn't get that info from the rehab center, that's 100% your fault. Do your job, please. I'm doing mine. I got the vibe that they were just trying to dump the patient onto someone else so they wouldn't have to deal with her because she was a black woman with a drug addiction. Sad. Do better. It's not actually that hard to be a good person."
"First time to this ER. They have a metal detector when you first enter. It's a small ER waiting room for a massive hospital with a high volume of patients. The waiting room is basically maxed out by 11 am. The process is odd. You register. Then, you get triaged where they ask about your problem(s) and get vitals, maybe take an EKG. Soon after, patient access gets your consent and has you sign off on some things. Depending on what you need, they'll call you up. If you need imaging, they'll take you back. If you need blood work, they call you up again. Each time, they just return you to the waiting room. I think it's odd they leave your arm tapped. I could imagine drug users coming in, getting poked, and leaving only to use the IV line for administration of drugs. If you wait long enough, they'll need to take your vitals again. The lady said they take people back based on the complaint, vitals, and pain. If you're not in distress, plan on waiting in the ER for over 5 hours. A tech told me the average wait time is about 8 hours. I don't think it's very smart that one of their mobile computers is at an angle that you can see the screen. On top of that. it's pretty unprofessional that the lady using it was house shopping on zillow."
