"I have had nothing but great service from Dr. Otha Myles and his staff. The nurse/receptionist is welcoming and seems very organized. I needed a physical exam for college and Dr. Myles was very helpful, professional and thourough. I appreciated the ease of this process in my busy, hectic life."
"I picked Dr. Myles for my pcp with my new insurance, because I liked his website and he sounded good. Also, he is 3 blocks from our office. I was very impressed with Dr. Myles when I first went to him on 12/30/20. His assistant was so nice, and very personable, she was really sweet. I read another review on here that said they weren't nice at all, and that really confused me. I had arthritis in my back just a few weeks later, and didn't realize that's what it was so went to a chiropractor, thinking I had pulled a muscle. Eventually I figured out that wasn't the problem and went back to Dr. Myles. One of the first things he did was order an x-ray. The x-ray showed him I had arthritis. Thank God I decided to go see him. I was bad by that time and felt like my rib cage was on fire. Thanks to Dr. Myles & his staff, I am doing great now & pain free."
"Professional and accessible."
"Dr. Myles and his staff were great! I felt that he and his team took the time to understand me as a whole patient in their care."
"I saw Dr. Myles after he took over my former doctor’s practice. From the moment I walked in the door, I did not have a good impression. He had a closed circuit TV on in the waiting room with Dr. Oz playing. Oz pushes a lot of quackery and that immediately lowered my confidence. The receptionist was not at all friendly. They did not greet me, asked questions without bothering to look at me at all. They wanted to draw blood and the woman who did it was unbelievably slow and had to stick me several times before she hit a vein. I do not have this problem with anyone else. When I finally saw Dr. Myles, he never asked me how I was doing, asked nothing about my current state of health or my health history. All he did was go through my list of medications and said he would not renew any of them until I saw a specialist for each one of them. These were common medications for common conditions like well controlled asthma and acid reflux. That would have entailed making appointments with several specialists and would have taken months, would have been time-consuming, and would have incurred considerable expense. And it would have left me without needed medications for months. I never went back. Now, a year ago, I received a phone call from a man who claimed to be from Dr. Myles’ office, said I had a balance on my account, and asked me to pay it over the phone. This is a common scam and there is no way I’m going to pay them. I told them to send me a paper bill. This may not have had anything to do with Dr. Myles’ office although I would wonder how a scammer had my name, phone number, and knew I was a patient of that office. However, I later got a voice mail that they had sent a bill and it was returned to them. I recently moved, the post office has been mishandling mail, and if they sent a bill, apparently they did not forward it. Today I received an email from their office announcing they are moving to a different “suit” in their building. There are several misspellings, including in the subject line. The email is poorly worded, the punctuation is poor. I tried responding to it but there is no email where I can contact them, which means I’m going to have to call their office and talk to them on the phone, which I really don’t want to do after all of this. At every turn, Dr. Myles and his staff have made a poor impression. No way would I trust him with my health or my life."
