Reviews of Gateway Psychiatric Group
"I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else other than Gateway. I have been seeing Ann for 5 years and she has been there with me through it all. From doing exceptionally well to the lowest of low’s. When I was at my lowest she never gave up on me. We continued trying different things until something worked. She is compassionate, listens, answers all of my questions even if that means doing extra research and ALWAYS makes sure to explain everything. I never leave without a plan that we have worked on together. Ann’s knowledge regarding psychiatric medications is UNMATCHED to any other provider I’ve ever seen. Not only is Ann wonderful but the office staff is a delight. Kattie always makes any day brighter. She is prompt at returning messages, getting questions answered, scheduling and so much more. I am eternally grateful for this practice."
"I have been seeing Dr. Gordon Robinson for 10.5 years now. He was my psychiatrist when I was in inpatient treatment, and I began seeing him in his office setting after I was discharged. I have remained sober/clean this entire time, but due to having chronic mental health issues, I have still needed to be in care with a psychiatrist. He has helped me an enormous amount, in ways that are far beyond prescribing medications. He helped me through some of the absolute darkest periods of my life. He wrote me a letter of recommendation that helped me get into graduate school after I was sober for 3 years. He helped me during fertility struggles, a miscarriage, and a full-term pregnancy (as well as the postpartum period). I have needed to contact him via the patient exchange several times during the last decade, for urgent situations, and he has followed through on helping me every single time. I could go on and on, truly. He has always worked very hard. When I was in inpatient, I recall him meeting with new patients at midnight if that's when they arrived. His office has always felt like a true "family practice", and there aren't many of those anymore. Thank you Dr. Robinson. I have no idea how I would have made it this far in my recovery and life without ALL of your support and help."
"The people at Gateway have helped me come a long way in life in the last two years. The office staff is incredibly friendly. Katie has always been an incredibly pleasant person to deal with and handles requests promptly and during my most recent visit, my encounter with Tim was the best experience I've ever had dealing with office staff. A big thank you to Dr. Palmer here for always working with me, being understanding of my needs, and being patient when I mess up. If you're looking for a place to get help, this could be a good starting place for you to turn your life around."
"With the help of Ann and support of staff I have watched my life change drastically over the last 6 weeks. I’ve been with them a very long time and when I didn’t think I could break I was broken. Down, depressed, sad, hopeless you name it. When I talk with Ann she always listens, understands and provides positive feedback that really helps me get through the darkest moments. With Ann’s knowledge I’ve been on a new medication for about 6 weeks and my thought process has been totally changed for the better. I feel the best I’ve ever felt and very happy. I am confident again in who I am and am very thankful for all of their hard work and dedication to helping me become a better person."
"WARNING DO NOT GO HERE! Gordon Robinson and I will not address as “doctor” should have his license taken away. He misdiagnosed me put me on multiple medications that were downward spiraling my health. Has had me on a “membership” $10 a month since 3/2020 and I have not seen him since 3/2020. I have no payment agreement with his privately owned practice. That’s right private owned. That means u can’t call ssm or any of the health practices to help with such fraudulent charges. Don’t worry I called today and found that out..And I don’t owe not one single bill to any of them! He is not affiliated with any of them. Nobody ever answers the phone at Gateway Psychiatric either. I’ve been fighting this battle with billing for a year now. Last Friday 7/28 billing lady answered the phone finally ..told me she will have it together in a few days to go through the invoices and she also said she has to talk with Dr. Gordon about my bill or if I have one. Well when I called today I called from my phone about 17 times No answer.. I called from my sons phone about a half hour after my last prior call and what do u know the billing lady answered the call!!!!! She goes on to say she has covid and that she has three billing systems to go through and she just can not keep up. I said “You told me a week ago I would have my documents ready for me to pick up.” She stated she has to talk to the doctor because it’s his business. It’s my opinion that is unethical because the billing system is the billing system and doctor has nothing but options to go h could affect my billing situation seeing as he has allll the power to tell a patient they owe money when they in fact do not and have not been a patient for three years but every single month get charged $10 “membership fee” I’M NOT A MEMBER OR A PATIENT. Refund my money."
