"Good, clean space but budget for 2x what you sign up for initially. After 60 days my rate went from $60 to $160 and they are not flexible to negotiating. I mentioned other storage places that offered lower rates and they told me “the rate doubles at any facility after 2 months.” I moved out after 3 months because it was no longer worth the cost. Also, upon moving in to my unit, there was no instructions for how to access the climate controlled spaces so I had to wait until the desk person returned from lunch to receive the passcode. Was not ideal when on a tight timeline for moving!"

"Arthur was super helpful. I asked several questions on the phone before I came to get my unit and he was very patient with me on the phone as well. He was also very kind and helped me to decide what would be the best use of space for my items. I thought it was funny that over the phone. He told me not to wait too long because First come first serve”. Sure enough, right after I decided on my unit someone else walked in and told him that the unit they wanted was the one I just got. I’m glad I listen to him. I’m also very happy with the location as it’s easy to access."

"Just raised my rent by 30% for July1st. They know people have to choose between extra rent or heat stroke so they sneak attack and jack up the prices at the least convenient time. Meanwhile, they rent the same unit for half the price online. It’s a rip off. No love for long-term, loyal customers who’ve never missed a payment. Steer clear. Edited to add that I called the number below and Phil argued with me that all he could do was take $10 off and if I rented anywhere else at a lower rate they would increase the rent significantly because that’s “how the industry works”. It is clear that they are trying to take an advantage and when I asked him to stop arguing with me he hung up on me."

"I've had a unit here for over 5 years. When it was time to increase my storage space, I looked around at other facilities and none could compare to what I have at Life Storage. The employees have always been polite and very helpful. I have 24/7 access so no one can tell me that I can't get to my stuff whenever I want/need. They have a gate with a code so I feel secure when I am at my unit no matter what time of day. I can't say enough wonderful things about this facility. I've had units other places before but never had the fantastic experience that I have had with Life Storage in Brentwood. Thank You!!"
