"While on a cross-country bicycle tour supporting No Kill Animal Shelters. I happened by and needed shade. A woman, the secretary, I guess, pulled up. I introduced myself and asked if I might use the shaded area. My bik had suffered some serious damage in an accident a few days prior. I had even been admitted to a hospital because of the heat. Instead of "Christian" behavior, she called the Sheriff's Department and made me leave. She didn't even have the decency to tell me herself. Funny, a sign on their van said "God care about you. We care about you. Apparently that's a lie."
