About the Business
Welcome to the Arnold Police Department
Located at 2101 Jeffco Boulevard, Arnold, Missouri, the Arnold Police Department is dedicated to serving the community with the highest standards of professionalism, fairness, compassion, efficiency, and effectiveness. Under the leadership of Chief Brian Carroll, our team is committed to ensuring public safety in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
Our Uniform Patrol Division is the backbone of the department, patrolling the city's streets, subdivisions, and shopping centers 24/7. These officers are the first responders to emergency calls, conducting initial investigations that aid in prosecuting offenders. They receive ongoing training in weaponry, life-saving techniques, and the latest legal updates to provide top-notch public safety services.
The Traffic Unit, a specialized team within our department, comprises two highly trained officers certified as Accident Reconstructionists by the State of Missouri. Operating Harley Davidson police motorcycles, they are available around the clock to investigate serious accidents and enforce traffic laws. The Unit conducts DUI Sobriety Checkpoints and manages enforcement traffic grants to curb aggressive driving. Additionally, they assist with traffic planning for city events like Arnold Days and the Fourth of July celebrations.
Since 1995, our K-9 Unit has played a crucial role in the department, with officers certified in Narcotics Detection, Patrol Services, Handler/Officer Protection, and Criminal Apprehension. Our K-9 team includes Officer Timothy Mayberry with K-9 Officer Vader, Officer Todd Watson with K-9 Officer Bane, and Officer Melissa Herold with K-9 Officer Fado.
The Crime Suppression Unit is a proactive policing team unique to Arnold, focusing on community enforcement to enhance the quality of life for residents and businesses.
At the Arnold Police Department, we prioritize the safety of our community, recognizing that everyday dangers can occur close to home. Our Public Relations Training Officer works to educate the public and train officers on various safety and community topics, fostering a collaborative effort to make Arnold a safer place for everyone.
