"The Lionel Railroad Club members are friendly and helpful. They have a great layout and they are building a new layout with O, S, & Standard gauges. The St.Louis Lionel Club would be a great club to join."

"A couple weeks ago, I took my 7 year old, RR-crazy grandson, Parker, to this place unannounced and rang their doorbell not knowing what to expect! What a fun 2 hours we had there!! Answering the door and welcoming us into this fascinating place was Mike Longrio, who according to the website is the Treasurer of this fine club. He showed us around giving us a tour of the rooms with train layouts, and after finishing that, Bill Heger walked in with his train set-up and put it on the main track. Parker was in awe watching it run around this huge layout! Then Steve (never got his last name) came in and began setting his train onto one of the other tracks of the same large layout, and he allowed Parker to help him get his set up and going. Next, Steve let Parker work the controls on Steve's train, blowing the whistle, changing speeds, and having fun watching it go through the mountains and tunnel. Needless-to-say, it was a fabulous afternoon, and Parker came home all excited and ready to join. His parents are ready to let him, too, so he'll have a better place to run his little Lionel set and learn more and more about the model railroading hobby. Thanks goes to Mike, Bill, Steve, and Roland, too, for welcoming us into their clubhouse, which is really nice, and allowing my Grandson to participate with them, and giving him even more good reasons to be enthusiastic about model trains."
"Nice people. Hardcore rail fans."
