"My friend died and I called to see about services. The man I spoke to was very rude and unprofessional. I was in tears and it was hard enough just to call but then to have the lack of empathy and rudeness added on. I would never use them."
"My father passed away suddenly and my fiance and I feel that the individuals who run this establishment have taken advantage of us in our time for morning. They were unprofessional and underhanded in the hole process. I was tricked into signing off on my father's cremation with them and now don't know how I'm gonna pay for them to release my father's ashes to me so I can put him to rest."
"My husband passed away on June 2, 2023. My father-in-law had him taken to Carter Ricks. Carter Ricks owned by Larry. Went over my head since he is good friends with my father-in-law and I didn't get my final moments or the things I requested out of the casket. Instead he was focused on pleasing my father-in-law since they were good friend. As the law reads the next of kin calls all the shots. What they did was unprofessional and illegal. My step mother-in-law also got up in my face and called me foul language because I wanted my husband's things out of the casket for our boys. I do not recommend this funeral home at all."
