"I go in monthly for an injection. I supply the medicine in vials holding two doses. Today I went in and was told there wasn't enough in the vial. I explained not once but twice that wasn't the case but ended up just leaving instead of arguing. Before I had even left the parking lot the nurse calls and says I was right. At first I was just upset they wasted my time during a busy week where I had already scheduled around the appointment but then it occurred to me that if she thought two doses wasn't enough then how much was she trying to give me? Did she even read my chart or did she just assume? Perhaps I am lucky that I just wasted my time when I could have ended up in the emergency room. We all make mistakes but maybe double check before you just assume you are right. Especially in a case where your actions can have serious consequences for someone's health. As others have said Dr. Patton is good but his office staff is terrible. This isn't the first problem but it will be the last. I will be changing my PCM soon."

It seems like this would be a basic expectation in the medical field, but you just don't find it anywhere else which is why even after moving to a different state, I still fly back to see him. "I have been a PT of Dr. Pattons for almost 18 years. As a person I love the heck out of him but the way the staff treats me I am so ready to find a new Dr. Every single time I call to try and make an appointment I am told go to the ER? I thought the reason o had a family Dr. Was to avoid expensive ER visits? I feel like Dr. Patton use to care but now he along with his staff I feel like they don't have time for the ones that should be important to them. I am at my witts end with my care that I feel is ALWAYS trying to be pushed off on someone else"
