"HIGHLY INAPPROPRIATE and absolutely worth it!!!! Definitely recommend the fast pass. This was our first year going and we will be getting the fast pass next year. DONT BRING YOUR KIDS! And if you do.. don't hold the line up because "you didn't know it was going to be like THIS" and your kid is terrified... they make you well aware it is NOT kid friendly. This was a great haunted house and we had so much fun! It was a 3 hour drive and worth every minute."

"I went tonight and have to say... it gets better each year! It had me jumping at every turn and Im hard to please when it comes to haunted houses. LOTS OF SCARE ACTORS!! From the moment u arrive, they are interacting with u. All were all wonderful and kind enough to take my 10yr old out when she got too scared. Yes, I know it says rated R and adults... my child, my choice. My other 2 teens had a blast!! The only part I didn't enjoy was the shot scene, but I knew it was coming and made all of my kids turn away. I felt like that was kinda pushing it. Also I didn't enjoy being touched. My hair was pulled. When it's dark like that, someone could easily poke u in the eye. I didn't mind my legs or arms, but maybe for the future avoid the head. They do have signs posted everywhere so u know what ur getting into & it clearly states risk of injury. Overall I was extremely impressed and can't wait to see how they top it next year!!"

"Update!! 10/8/22 very awesome! They do a great job! This is our 5th Haunted house this year and a 4 years in a row for Scare house of the South. They definitely deliver what they promise, it's not your every night haunted house. They do a great job making sure the whole group is involved and the end of the line doesn't get missed. This year it seemed longer than the previous years and always changes. A surprise around every corner. Well worth the drive. It is a bit more expensive than others but never fails to scare."

"I first went to Scarehouse of the South two years ago and was blown away! The place ROCKS due to the fact that it's in the middle of nowhere and the external stimuli is very visceral and REAL. While you're in line waiting to get in, your ears are serenaded with beautiful sounds, think hard rock and heavy metal. Once I got in, it was a very AWESOME experience to say the least. Surprise around every corner. I absolutely loved it. Don't walk too fast in there, enjoy it. IT WAS SPOOKTACULAR! Update: The 2017 season at Scare House of the South was totally awesome. They added a new attraction and the tour takes close to twenty minutes now. They have really outdone themselves this time and there is a scare around every corner. The best keeps getting better. Can't wait for the 2018 season to get here! Highly recommended."
