"I've been going to The Bluegrass Shack my entire life. I've gone to every other conceivable music store in the area, from the big corporate stores to the mom n pop shops. I have no intention of throwing shade at any of the competition as I'm sure they all have their pros and cons. With that said, I've never had anything but the best of experiences with The Bluegrass Shack, New Athens IL. The owner is incredibly kind, dedicated and hardworking. The very same can be said for every member of the staff. It's one of those stores that feels like the small town, small community, easy going and genuinely caring family business that it is. You can feel the difference as soon as you walk in the door. No question about it, they have earned my business for the remainder of my days. If you are a beginner in virtually any instrument and looking for lessons or a pro that needs equipment, repairs, or upgrades, I guarantee that the folks at The Bluegrass Shack will have what you need to continue with your musical journey and will make it an enjoyable experience."
