"I was very impressed by my visit on Tues 8/13/2024!! I'm glad I listened to the reviews and went to this location instead of near me. The wait wasn't long. They immediately assessed me when I came in within 15 to 20 mins In triage to assess severity. They do go by how extreme your situation is how fast they see you after triage but I was still to the back after triage in 1 hour and staff was friendly and nice. Jennifer was my nurse and excellent bedside manner! The room bathroom was not clean but they apologized and had environmental to come in immediately and disinfect and clean the bathroom that was conveniently located in my room in E.R..They ran several tests and addressed all my concerns. Very good hospital"
"As a newcomer to the area, this was my first interaction with this hospital. I have never been better tended. The people were friendly, capable, and never made me feel like a nuisance. My doctors were knowledgeable and explained things well. Plus, my room was beautiful and spacious. If you're sick, I heartily recommend this hospital."
"I had to go to the ER on May 15, 2024. I was severely dehydrated and had a UTI(no symptoms). I told them they would need to use the doplar or sonogram to get the IV in. Instead, they had 2 different ppl stick me 5x b4 they brought in the sonogram lady. The Dr came in after my 1st urine sample and asked for another one. He asked if I had CKD, which I don't. While the lady was doing my IC,she told me they were admitting me due to my UTI being backed up into my kidneys & I'd need IV antibiotics for a few days! This made my 81 yr old mother, who had never driven in Georgia, leave 4 my aunt's house to get my overnight things. Fyi, she got lost unnecessarily! While she was gone, Dr. Maisara Kobaisy popped his head in the door, LAUGHING, and told me he gave me another patient's diagnosis!!! He never apologized or anything! I've been trying for a month to dispute his bill. Yes, I received services, but I was given the wrong patient's diagnosis along with other haphazard care. The nurses were very nice, but that doesn't make up for his mistakes. The hospital has been paid, but they won't help me with the doctor's bill dispute. The 3rd party billing for the doctor just keeps giving me the run around."
"Part 1..Part 2 will follow from another account: This experience has been nothing short of a nightmare for me and my family. Thinking about the way we were handled is still mind blowing and heartbreaking all together. The ball was dropped in do many areas it’s ridiculous. As I sit in this hospital room writing this, trying to find the words to articulate everything is hard. My husband was rushed to the hospital and placed in ICU due to high blood sugar levels,DKA is the correct term. They were able to stabilize him within a day and place him in a regular room. I arrived the very next day because I had to catch a flight from in order to be here. We live about 15 hours away from here and even though that was our reality not one encounter other than one nurse seemed to care. From day 1 even until until 5 I reminded them that my husband wasn’t able to keep down any food and it wasn’t until day 3 or 4 where they began go give him medication to assist with him being able to properly use the restroom. Dr Elair mentioned her believing the reason he couldn’t keep anything down was due to constipation; however after I requested they run further testing they finally looked further and constipation was ruled out. The ball was dropped in so many areas concerning his health and if it wasn’t for the help of a close friend who happens to be a NP, we wouldn’t have ever gotten the answers we so desperately searched for. Because we had someone to assist with asking the proper questions, giving recommendations and listening in when the doctor made rounds that made the people who were supposed to help my husband get better seemingly resentful. They made us pay for it for sure. It certainly feels that way. We begged for a GI consult for nearly 3 days before they even considered it. At one point they sent two surgical doctors up to our room discussing the possibility of taking out his appendix yet he never complained about any pain in that area. They even stated the catscan of his stomach that I requested didn’t prove an issue but inclusive. The first AP apologized for the misunderstanding and said that was no reason for her to be in our room. She assured there was no issue with his appendix. Ten minutes later the Surgical Doctor arrived and wanted to check again although it was already ruled out. His demeanor was was out of order as he began making comments like “ well I’m just the doctor that takes things out” and began making jokes about towards my husband as if he was on vacation and not there for one of the most painful times of his life. We begged again for a GI consult because that would hopefully be the answer we so desperately desired. It wasn’t until I called down stairs to file a complaint that the doctor finally arrived and agreed to allowing him a GI consult. There’s no reason as to why we would have to beg them for so many days for the one test we felt we wanted from day one. They dragged their feet and made us feel as though his life wasn’t important enough to get to the bottom of what was going on. Every doctor or nurse that came into the room with the exception of one (Jasmine) didn’t even take a look as his chart prior to entering in. He could barely talk and instead of reading over notes that should’ve been in the computer they would attempt to force him to talk “ when he was already in excruciating pain from vommiting for almost 5 days and not being able to keep any food down. Despite all of that all we wanted and begged for as a family was for them to give us a GI consult. The doctor finally agreed and what happened after that was something I would’ve never imagined."
"Today I had a physical therapy session for my neck pain, and it was highly beneficial. The therapist was attentive and knowledgeable, taking the time to thoroughly assess my condition and listen to my concerns. They explained the underlying causes of my neck pain and outlined a personalized treatment plan. During the session, I received various exercises and manual techniques to alleviate tension and improve my range of motion. The therapist provided clear instructions and ensured that I performed the exercises correctly. They also used modalities like ice therapy and gentle stretches to relieve immediate discomfort. By the end of the session, I felt noticeably better, with reduced pain and increased mobility in my neck. The therapist also gave me home exercises and self-care tips to continue my progress between sessions. Overall, my physical therapy session for neck pain was a positive experience. It was a step in the right direction towards long-term relief, and I look forward to my future sessions to further improve my condition. I hope to work with Kasey for as long as her "travelling therapist" schedule will allow it."
