"I miss y'all guys it's been awhile since I've been there but me doing so much better I have to think of all the people and places who contributed to my well being today. My favorite staff member of all is JJ she is so amazing and inspires me"
"Been going here years. All of a sudden, you cannot schedule appointments anymore inside. They give you a card and date and a number to call to set one up but then when you do on that date they say they have no appts left so all you can do are walk-ins now randomly between 7:45-9am and pray you get seen. I haven been able to see my regular doctor there in 2 months. I have to set 3 appts for my family every month so this royally sucks now. I'd suggest finding another health organization before this one now."
"I can’t explain just how much this place made my condition worse. They labled me as a chronic smoker - i’m a college student who hasn’t smoked in almost three weeks - they snatched me off my birth control giving me the worst period of my life in a mental ward - bleeding through scrubs. I was kept way past the 72 hours purely because the weekend doctor said ‘i’m not discharging anyone this weekend’ after I had showed nothing but improvement. I had asked for a nurse for my asthma and it wasn’t until I turned blue that they began to help me. One of the staff flirted with me making me highly uncomfortable. I was somehow refused socks at some point? saying I had too many despite being there for far too long to have only three pairs. Then, after being released they said I had no adderall in my system and removed me from my sleeping meds and adderall for over a month - in which I couldn’t sleep and began to fail out of my college classes - these are medications I have been on since I was five. If it wasn’t for Dr. Jay in outpatient, I doubt I’d have made it another month. This place has left me terrified of hospitals, and left me in in a worse mental state leaving then when I went in. It felt as though I was being ignored and had to fake being okay if i wanted any chance of leaving. keep in mind i’m a college student who had days of work to catch up on, and my cat who was on the brink of death had no one to take care of him (he needed medication every twelve hours. I will say there was at least two staff members that I felt actually listened to me. However there were no therapy sessions, and when you spoke to the doctor it was less than ten minutes and what you said felt completely ignored. People in there said they would have preferred going back to jail; as the only difference was having coffee and being able to sleep in. As much as I appreciate what they were trying to do, this crisis center is not somewhere i’d leave my child or any family member."
"The people at the front desk had me call a 1 800 number to get "registered" I have been here since 8 waiting to see a doctor and it's now 10 40. I came here two years ago and the girls up front were so much better then the girls working the desk now. The people working here now are literally degenerates. I asked if they knew when I would be seen the girls exactly said "when that person comes out". Really appreciate it helps a lot only been here for 3 hours."
