"After 30 mins of questioning for my initial evaluation I wanted to make sure that I was going to see a doctor so that I could get the meds I have been taking for the last 4 years which we discussed in the first 5 mins of the evaluation. Thatโs when I was informed that they do not give stimulants to adults. I would never have stayed if I would have been told that in the first 5 mins. I also found it odd they wanted our financials when Tricare pays for everything. I was called later that week to see if the treatment they provided was helping. I told her I never saw a doctor and that my insurance should not be billed. I was told a supervisor would call me about the issue but of course never happened. I will be contacting Tricare and Winn to push for this office to not be referred too."
"I've been coming here for some months. So far my therapist is good the nurse practitioner is good. Here's where I get a bad taste. I got to the right window and give the lady the paperwork. I'm showing myself as friendly. She doesn't ask me what time or day works best for my next appointment. She came off somewhat nasty as if I'm bothering her. As I stated she sits on the right when you walk in. Her hair is pulled back in a ponytail and she has an earring in her nose. None of that bothers me,it's the lack consideration and professionalism that caused me to address this."
"Most of the receptionists are rude and have poor attitudes. I wait at least 20 - 30 minutes each time I go past my actual appointment time. And when you say something about it, you'll get an attitude and they'll make up reasons why. I was seeing a psychiatrist when I first started going here a couple years ago and then one day I'm seeing an RN. What!?! This is sadly one of a couple mental health places in liberty county, so either way, you're not going to get good service and if you do, congratulations!! Do Not Recommend Gateway."
"I wanted to give this place one star, but I'm giving it 2 because it was the only mental health clinic that could get me in ASAP due to walk ins being available. The nurse practitioner spent the entire visit staring into her computer while asking me a series of questions. Never really made eye contact. I'm fully aware that she needed to ask questions and type my information though. She did not show any compassion towards issues in my life. The receptionist staff seem lazy to me. They scheduled me 3 more appointments without asking when I wanted to be seen again or the times of the day that work best for me."
"I would've given this a 5 star, but it does have a couple problems. When you are scheduled with the doctor expect to be seen at least 15-30 minutes after your appointment time. I find the staff pleasant. I have a great counselor. The doctor works with you on your meds. The front staff has to deal with a lot of problem clients so they can be grumpy from time to time. It's a reduced or free clinic depending on your income, and out of all the clinics of this type that I've been to, this is by far one of the best ones."
