"I called them on July 1, 2024 left a detailed message. They never called me back within 48 hours or even after the holiday. They used to be real good at calling back. Looks like I'll be finding me a new OB-GYN."
"I left many appointments during my pregnancy in tears because of rude nurses, not being heard, feeling judged by the nurse and doctor, and excruciatingly long wait times with extremely short face to face time with the doctor. The only person I enjoyed my time with was the ultrasound tech. The final straw for me was when I showed up for my 6 week postpartum checkup with my 6 week old nursing infant and was almost turned away because of their "no children" policy. They grudgingly let me in while one of the nurses berated me the whole time about bringing my exclusively breastfeeding newborn baby to my postpartum check up. Then, they had me wait in the patient room for an hour to wait for the doctor to come in and gave me a regular check up with a papsmear and a script for birth control. He didn't ask any post partum questions or even acknowledge that I was postpartum. Again showing me that I was just a number. My appointment that I jumped through hoops for to secure childcare for my other children and spent an hour and a half in the waiting room and patient room was just a time slot for the doctor to check off his list."
"At first it was a good place. The staff were completely friendly. They took all my information down over the phone. I lost my medical card before my first appointment but they needed a photo copy of it for some reason. Even though they had the numbers I gave them over the phone. This is when all my experiences went down hill. Well they wanted me to get blood work which I agreed they told me it was going to be 75$ if my insurance didn’t cover it. I got the bill in the mail and it was 800$. I was completely floored if I knew the test was that much I would have opted out. Then as my pregnancy went further in I was scheduled for an ultrasound. Which was at 2pm I believe one I showed up on time and no one I mean not a single rep or nurse or tech was there until around 3pm to almost 4. Which I had to be at work at 4. Then it took the tech a lot of time to find the baby’s organs and guess on the sex. There was no definite on gender. Well as time went further in I got sent to high risk in Savannah for more test bloodwork and ultrasound. My baby was small and the rest of the test were normal. The doctor at high risk asked me if I knew why I was here I said no. And that was a no cause the doctor at this clinic and their staff didn’t tell me anything. It was fluid in the kidneys already been through it before with my six year old I wasn’t too worried about but apparently the clinic thought I was going freak out so they had high risk tell me instead about a week after. I was pretty pissed at that point. Well after that I had to go to hinesville for 3 days straight for steroid injections but also had to go to Savannah for ultrasounds. Eventually all these visits affected my job which resulted me in letting my babysitter go because I could no longer afford the trips going both ways and the sitter. With no help from assistance I had to cut certain things out of my life and at home. That’s move forward a couple of weeks because of the stress and what not I found out I was low on aminotic fluids which the doctors in Savannah wanted me to stay so I did for day and a half. Six bags of IV fluid later I left because of my son and not being able to afford my bills, childcare, and my house while I was in the hospital. After that. I felt sick so I went back to the hospital they pumped me with three more IV Fluid and were surprised that my fluid went up to about 7 but they were happy. They sent me home with instructions. And told me to follow with the hinesville obgyn. Well this where my visit went from good to bad in a hour. I was originally there for a glucose test which caused me to get severely ill which never happens. And when the doctor came in I call him by his first name Seth B. Came in flipping the hell out about leaving. And yelled at me about the baby dying. I tired to explain to him that it was difficult to travel in between here and high risk and I can’t afford much cause of it. To him he didn’t seem to care. He didn’t seem to care about my son either. Oh by the way if you don’t have a sitter or someone on stand by you will not be allowed to have your child at the clinic whatsoever hell I wasn’t allowed to play on my phone during the ultrasound let alone record my own baby moving like the clinics I used to go to. After the condescending conversation and him acting out I left and told them I will not be coming back. The high risk hospital was so kind to me and took me in for the remainder of my pregnancy. Which I can tell you took be about five times to call to get my records sent over to high risk. No one should ever get yelled at for doing what they believe is right let alone told what to do with their own children. It’s ridiculous. I felt uncomfortable and angry. Plus the added stress no thank you I will go elsewhere to deliver and have my future baby at. So those that go here suggestion switch while you can save yourself from stress and being talked down to. If I could give them a zero I would in a heart beat"
"My wife goes to this clinic and although the staff has been pleasant, it is inconvenient as a stay at home mother to not be able to bring our daughter to the visits. The front desk lady didn't even allow me or my daughter to sit in on an ultrasound for our second child's gender reveal. This is suppose to be an exciting time in our life that the office is stripping us from. The reason for her being stay at home is because we don't trust anybody to look after our child. Me as the sole provider will be at work during business hours and we work with one car. Other people's children should not be a punishment for everybody. Very inconvenient."
"I would have recommended this practice to any one and every one when it was Dr. Borquaye, and Dr. Sifford. Together they were a pretty good team. Very professional and caring. Always addressed my concerns and needs as a patient. Now that Sifford is gone and Moore is practicing I barely want to even go to my appointments. She seems very uncaring and doesn't seem to even want to be at the appointment herself. By no means would I ever suggest a single person to pursue the care of this place. There have been many times throughout this pregnancy that things showed up in testing as an issue, or during and ultrasound and I was not made aware of it until weeks later, which I find to be very unprofessional and borderline malpractice. It is very disappointing that such a wonderful practice is being run down. Cannot wait to deliver and finish all post delivery appointments. I am never coming back!"
