"I’m giving 4 stars for two reasons. 1. I wish my appointments didn’t have to be on only one day a week when the staff is in Hinesville. I understand that it’s not their fault and I’m grateful I can get local care - I just can’t make it around my schedule. 2. Making appointments over the phone when you call doesn’t come easy. It always goes to VM. However they do return calls and the nurse staff does keep a open line of communication with you and offer additional support. That part is nice. They are my favorite. The office atmosphere is nice. Dr Pappas spent the majority of his time with me during the first appointment. After that - not so much. I received nerve block injections that worked wonders but he wanted me to try a self injecting pen of medication to see if that works for me. Of course it did and now I only have to come in every 3-4 months making my scheduling a bit easier. I love that part! I’m a Soldier so I don’t get a big say in who Tricare authorizes for me to see. In that - I don’t complain about my healthcare. My experience has been a professional one and as accommodating as possible. No complaints here!"
"If I could rate ZERO stars I would. These people can't even schedule apts correctly. You tell them a date and they give you something completely different. Next, I was called and asked if I could come in a hour earlier twice by two different receptionist. I came in an hour early just to sit in the waiting room an hour. After 45 min. I walk to the desk to confirm my apt was for the correct day and they tell me I was early! Again, the day prior two different receptionist called me back to back to ask if I could come in a hour early because someone canceled an apt. Furthermore, Dr. Pappas is unprofessional and unreceptive to patients needs. It doesn't matter what you explain to him, he's not listing and already knows what he's going to say and do prior to walking in. Don't waste your time going here. Drive further if need be for better quality."
"I waited 1 hour for the appointment and an hour to receive a MRI script and a prescription that he should not have wrote because it would have made my birth control ineffective. This is bad practice plain and simple. Any doctor should review the patients medicine list, that's what all that non sense paperwork is for. He was not considerate to listen to me requesting an EEG which other doctors have recommended. He didnt impress me with any new knowledge. I would not let this guy inject my neck with whatever med he wanted and he was rude in making me wait and not considering what care I needed. It's sad we can't have good neurologists in the area. :/ Richmond Hill neurologist appointment wait time isn't any better but I would not resort to this place either. Maybe a godsend will bring better neurologist care to the area."
"Dr Pappas is the first neurologist who thought to do specific Tests that others in my past have not. In doing this, he found a problem I had never been diagnosed with before and discussed a solution to my problem. The front desk staff and nurses are friendly and eager to help. This is my first Georgia neurologist and I'm pleased. After a few visits and initial tests I got to chat with him about my concerns further and found him to be a kind and pleasant man. I will definitely stick with his office as long as I live in Georgia. Also I would like to mention, he travels one hour to this facility to treat the people of Hinesville. I don't know many doctors who do that. Just because you don't get your way about something, doesn't mean you should discredit a doctor as being a bad one and leaving a bad review."
"Dr. Pappas is receiving this one star review based solely on the fact that someone answers the phone there and scheduled an appointment. This practitioner was not interested in getting the full scope of the concerns (during the initial visit of a new patient) of what is going on with symptoms being expressed! I can only surmise that he wanted to bill the insurance company for additional visits to the office, or he just didn't care. In a subsequent visit, he again refused to acknowledge the pain and sleeping difficulties of these symptoms. It is so disheartening, and frankly frustrating when a physician tunes you out and lets you leave the office without providing a descent level of concern or care! My only suggestion to people seeking a physician who is willing to use the tools of diagnostic testing and a neurologist who can partner those results with the symptoms being conveyed - do your research and consider another practice."
