"I completed a C&P here for allergic rhinitis and the NP stated that I was congested and had blockage in one nostril to my face at my examination. She then wrote on the DBQ I had no symptoms and my claim was denied, followed up with VA a month later and was examined by a doctor who reiterated that I have a blockage (it’s literally there for life) and was still congested. After this I was rated appropriately. I have asked the VA to not send me out for examinations due to the agencies hidden agendas with just saying one thing to your face and putting something else down on paper. I have an upcoming appointment with them again and I am furious."
"Had a pleasant (as pleasant as these things can go anyways) experience dealing with the psychiatrist and audiologist at this location. The employees at the front desk were very welcoming and offered me refreshments during my short wait."
"Extremely unprofessional appointment with Charolette Hand. She did not review my VA paperwork prior to visit and only read through some of it with me there (by her own admission). She then stated she does not like to recommend VA increases and also stated that if I already had a rating then we really didn't need to worry too much about the appointment. Her focus was on trying to read through dozens of pages of documents (during the appointment) while telling me her "gut" feeling was the VA probably wouldn't rate my claim anyway so she was going to file paperwork to that effect.... as a recent grad who just spent years on rotations working with patients for providers in hospital and clinic settings in order to get my doctorate, I can say this visit was a perfect example of how NOT to treat a patient. Fortunately the VA rescheduled this appointment at a separate facility for an actual examination."
"I was a little afraid to go here for my VA evaluations after reading reviews, but my experience was amazing with the team at QTC. Unique up front was so bubbly and easy to talk to, and moved my appointments so I wouldn't have to make multiple trips! I can't remember the nurse's name who did my breathing test and blood draw, but she was really patient with me and she was so sweet as well. My provider was Jessica, and she was so thorough, very pleasant, and also extremely knowledgeable- she didn't push me past my limits when I said I was in pain, and I really appreciated that she listened to me. The Xray tech, April, was also super nice! Overall, I had a very pleasant experience at this location and felt very well taken care of."
"Told the lady and provided documentation from an orthopedic surgeon that clearly I’m in worse shape than what the VA has me rated at (pending surgery) What does she do? Snatches my ankle in 5 different directions forcefully and says “it shouldn’t be this bad you’re walking on it.” Now I’m sitting on the side of the road unable to drive because my ankle is hurting me terribly. Very unprofessional and unpleasant. Of course my ankle will flex to 40 degrees when you grab it with both hands and yank it towards you."
