"The visit today was very professional. The front desk clerk Ms. Linda was pleasant and understanding, she explained the retinal imaging process. I was happy how the tech check every 1& minutes when my son eyes were dilated. And James was so patient when he was trying to decide what glasses he wanted. "I came here with my children for our yearly exams. My daughter and I ordered glasses and the first woman that helped us with the fittings was amazing. She was very helpful, kind and polite. We came back after about 2 weeks to have my daughter’s glasses adjusted and the general manager James Wood was very professional, helpful, and listened to our concerns and needs. Mr. Wood helped us choose an alternate pair of glasses for my daughter that would better fit her nose bridge and give her the most benefits from her eye wear. My daughter wanted me to mention that he was also very funny. Mr. Wood was very friendly and he worked with us in pricing and selection. The frames that I had chosen were no longer in stock and Mr. Wood contacted me regarding this so that I could choose another pair. He then helped me look for similar frames, offered to give me a loaner pair in the same style but different color until the ones I chose were back in stock and worked with me on pricing for the ones I ultimately went with due to any inconvenience. We were very pleased with the services we received and would come back here for frame selection in the future. If you are new to the area, my daughter and I would highly recommend you visiting this location. The staff is great!"

"Absolutely horrid service almost all around. Only pleasant person I dealt with was the woman who did all the pre-screening tests prior to the doctor coming in. I was contacted to provide additional info a few days prior to the exam. I missed the call so I called back to provide info. No answer so I left a message. A few hours later I called again, no answer so I left a message. Never got a call back. I finally figured out how to input that info online after searching for a while. Still never got contacted back even just for them to confirm they got the info needed. Never got notification of my appointment changing from one doctor to the other and apparently the time changed too. I was quoted way more for payment than in previous years at other providers (same insurance with no changes). Doctor was incredibly brief and not very personable. Felt like I was a “get in and get out” situation which is what seems like their standard practice is for most of their patients. I was told I had to have my eyes dilated which I balked at because I drove myself there and they said “we’ll give you sunglasses” which were really a flimsy little covering to put over my glasses that didn’t work. Struggled to drive home and really unhappy that I was not given a choice or informed prior to the apt so I could make ride arrangements. Once I was brought to the guy who fits glasses/contacts same deal. Not friendly, didn’t have trial contact lenses so they had to order them. Never gave me my prescription and I didn’t realize until I left so I had to go back. Front desk was rude when I asked for that and questioned the pricing. Called for specifics of pricing and Melanie was rude like everyone else when I explained that things didn’t add up to me. Informed her that I wasn’t provided prescription and I had to go back and she said “well you can get it online” and I said no one told me and she rudely said “I’m telling you now.” I have worn a toric lens in my right eye for 15 years and a standard in my left for the same time. My co-payment with my insurance these past few years has always been $40 for the contacts but not here. Today I paid $130.50. Only reason I tried My Eye Dr is because their hours of operation fit my schedule better. Sadly, they fail everywhere else and I will certainly not be back. I will be returning to my previous doctor because they definitely are a lot friendlier, a lot more thorough, and they definitely are not shady with billing/insurance."
