"He's been my son's Doctor since he was born. I'm thankful so many I know recommended him. In today's world we tend to hold doctors , lawyers, etc.. to a different standard forgetting they're human. I love the staff the know us by name the history is there and I don't have to guess if doc knows my son's background. We even get to an understanding of sorts on how each other's doing without speaking to much... Family environment is already there. They've made time my son over and over again. Thanks. Y'all"
"Dr. Thomas was my child's doctor from birth until my family and I pcsd to another state, so about 15 months of him being my son's doctor. I was at first hesitant because of all the racial violence happening in the world and was unsure if he would be any assistance to my "colored" child (just being honest). However, to my surprise, this wasn't the case for Dr. Thomas he was phenomenal. He was always there for my child without fail and was always truthful. I would highly recommend him to anyone with a child. Based on my referrals, I know of at least three friends who have had him as their doctor, and they say the same things. His staff is lovely; even my mother, who is not the easiest person to please, would recommend him."
"Dr. Eddie Thomas has taken care of my baby since she was a baby, and he does an amazing job. The office is always clean and everyone is always friendly. Everything is explained very well to me, and my daughter is always taken care of."
"EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED would be a huge understatement. The day my daughter was born, she didn't go to the bathroom as soon as Dr. Thomas thought she should and he came to the room before she was even 12 hours old and told us "she probably has C-DIFF, so more than likely we will send her to Savannah." That issue was corrected on it's own and... she does not have C-DIFF. Go figure. As if that outburst wasn't enough.. I took her to the "Doctor" Thomas at a week old for two reasons: throwing up orange-ish liquid and for fear that something was wrong with her hip. At the office visit, Dr. Thomas informed me that I should not question his initial evaluation of my daughter and assured me there was nothing wrong with her hip. He sent us to the Savannah children's hospital (go figure - always pushing it off on someone else to handle even though he is a pediatrician) to see about her spit up. Upon arrival there, the team of doctors immediately threw out the concern about the orange in color bile. But oh, guess what. A TEAM OF 10+ doctors were able to find a dislocated hip. SO - here we are a year later, I am still receiving a bill from "Doctor" Thomas' office. I called his "office manager" - Candy, and was advised I was required to pay this outstanding bill. I tried to explain the situation to her and even began with the fact that I was not trying to be rude in any form or fashion, she yelled across the phone that I could explain to her what was going on but nothing would change, I was still required to pay. I asked if they wanted to write off that particular bill or if they wanted me to pay that one and them take care of the bills I am having now since we are in the process of having the hip put into place. She stated they were not responsible for anything to do with my daughter. So, I say all of that to give all of you a warning. If you'd like for your child to be in the hands of someone who really could care less what happens to them, this is definitely the place to go! If you do care, I would consider looking for somewhere else."
"The staff are so so friendly and efficient! Best care we have ever received! The office is also clean and nicely decorated. Be warned that the pin on google maps leads to the incorrect location though. This is the correct address: Dr. Thomas M. Amburgey, MD, 360 Peachtree St, Jesup, GA 31545. It is on the corner of peach tree and macon."
