"If you want to be ignored for 4 hours go to Wayne Memorial. Went in for pain while pregnant did not even see my nurse don’t know who she/he was and left with no answers. The hospital was not busy and put me in an un made bed with visible blood. Oo but the best part still have to pay for whatever you want to call this. And the worse part still no answers! Never will I ever be back."
"DO NOT TAKE ANYONE THAT YOU LOVE TO THIS HOSPITAL. My daddy went in for a back surgery, ended up in ICU for 12 days, they done nothing to see what was going on with him and once we requested to transfer him to Savannah they acted pissy towards us. Once we got him to Savannah, they had to immediately put him on a vent.. if he would’ve been there for one more day, he wouldn’t be alive. They weren’t doing anything to take care of him or get him on the right path. They were blaming everything but themselves or their care for his sickness."
"My husband and I just moved to Jesup from Hinesville. I was admitted to the ICU on Friday of Memorial Day weekend. Needless to say, I was not thrilled about spending my holiday weekend in the hospital but I had the most amazing care and it made it so much better. The NP from the ER was nothing short of amazing and ALL of the nurses in the ICU took such great care of me. Kyra, Sue and Selina all went above and beyond to help me and met every single need that I had. The lab techs were so great. Nobody had to stick me multiple times (even though I was giving up some blood 3x a day)! Even the hospital food was tasty!!! I can’t thank Wayne Memorial enough! The doctors were incredibly thorough. I did have several tests but everything was thoroughly explained to me before hand. They made sure that they were treating me correctly and they did. I was incredibly sick. I was discharged Tuesday and I feel amazing. Thank you all so very much!! ❤️"
"Insufficient number of staff. Not enough quality, sufficiently trained nurses or physicians. More students than doctors. At night there have been NO actual doctors in the ER. Half of the staff don’t wear their ID badges, and the wait is long despite few patients. The number of patients they mistreat or misdiagnose is unbelievable. This hospital is your last resort. Beware."
"Edit: still took my kid to his paediatrician and found out that the prescribed dosage was way over what my 2year old needed. Very worrisome considering if I didn’t go and gave him what was given he would potentially have stomach aches and diarrhea, and other issue 2.5 ER staff and doctors where all very nice but the amount of time spend there was unnecessary. Coming from a big city where wait time in the ER are only 20min max mostly less especially when it comes to children. And then once in the back being gone within an hr to here having to wait almost 3hrs to go to the back while my 2yr old is screaming bc he’s in pain. To waiting there for another 2hrs in the back after already agreeing he had an ear infection. Something could definitely be ran more efficiently and not wait over an hr for a flu result. Like I said doctor and nurses are very nice. While waiting for flu results I did have another doc and nurse stop by to make sure we had be seen and test ran. But the amount of time having to wait I would suggest unless it’s bloods and guts just make an appointment with your doctor for the next day unless you’re fine with sitting there for over 5hrs."
