"I went to the ER about 3 weeks ago due to alot of pain in my stomach, frequent urinating and urinating blood. They did a regular urine test and the doctor came and told me that I was good, I had no infections. I went home with a mild antibiotic that did not do anything. After 3 or 4 days later of no relief and getting worse I went to the ER in Dublin. The doctor there immediately ran several test on me, MRI and CAT scan also and I was informed that I have not only a really bad UTI, I have Pyelonephritis. I was prescribed 5 different drugs and about 1 week later I actually feel better with no pain."
"I do not recommend using any of the meadows practices. They have very very shady billing practices. Best move we made was moving our kids to Bulloch Pediatrics. You will get mulitple bills from all different sources for one visit to Meadows. Trust me, don't use Meadows billing will be very shady."
"This has been a nightmare with this hospital Let me start off first when I was sick & they had their so call respiratory Therpist to come in & give me breathing treament, He walk in & put my mask on & put the meds in & walk out. Not once introduce himself & did not take any time to show me how to do the treament, And never seen him again, I am CNA & I even know to do this, but I wanted to give it a shot to maybe get a job here, I have apply twice and never get it, For once the snotty nose nurses that interview you has their nose so far up in the air they could drown if it rain, And Maybe it is good thing I did not get the job because if they act like this with patients or even trying to apply for employment why would someone want to work there, Be a part of a so call team, Because I will never ever go as a patient or apply for employment BECAUSE THIS HOSPITAL SUCKS Need care go to EVANS MEMORIAL IN CLAXTON , The next day when I was sick I went to the ER and I had bronc & they done my breathing treatment & the resp therapist stayed with me the whole time, Never left me. This what type of service patients need,"
"Vidalia Memorial Hospital is the absolute WORST hospital to ever go to for an ER visit. I don’t even know how that building is still standing. I really don’t. How the ER nurses and doctors still have a job there beats me. My son broke his foot in 3 different places and the ER said “nope it’s just sprained.” Went to doctor spiveys office and he said “yep, it’s broke in 3 different places.” If you go in there with heart failure, they say you have acid reflux. If you go in there with a broke back, they’ll say you have the flu. Oh and let’s not forget the outstanding amount of hours you have to sit in there before getting let go. If you want to live, go to Reidsville hospital or Dublin. If you choose to read this review and not care about my opinion be my guest, go get your own experience from that ridiculous place. By the way, this review is NOT for anyone else in the hospital. Just the ER nurses and doctors."
"If you're visibly queer and chronically ill and terrified of seeking medical care when you need it because of the way you have been treated by medical professionals in the past, I highly recommend using meadows when you need emergency care/ a hospital stay. Not a single member of staff treated me coldly or disregarded anything I said. My pronouns were asked and respected. It's the first time in ten years that I have sought medical help and not been treated like I was less than human. That's an invaluable experience to a person like me. If you know anyone on staff at that hospital thank them for me, everyone was wonderful ❤️"
