Dr. Callaway's impressive academic journey began with graduating Magna Cum Laude from the University of Georgia. He earned his medical degree from Mercer University School of Medicine, where he was honored as a member of the prestigious Phi Beta Kappa and Alpha Omega Alpha honor societies. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the Medical College of Georgia and further honed his skills as a spine surgery fellow at OrthoCarolina in Charlotte, NC.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Callaway is actively involved in research, having published numerous peer-reviewed scientific articles. He frequently presents his findings at local and national conferences. He is a proud member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS), North American Spine Society (NASS), AOSpine North America, and Georgia Orthopaedic Society (GOS).

Dr. Callaway is thrilled to bring his expertise back to his medical school alma mater and his wife Alden's hometown of Macon, where they reside with their two sons, Beau and Lake.
