"My lady friend, Kristine Ochu, who lives on Amelia Island, was wearing the most beautiful pair of crystal dragonfly earrings. She told me she bought them downtown at Debonair. Well, being the jewelry junkie I am, I had to go. I was warmly greeted by the store associate, Noreen, as I entered this super cute boutique. Debonair displayed so many high quality, unique pieces of jewelry, purses and accessories. After exploring every inch of the store, I rolled up my sleeves and was ready to make a very difficult decision -- what to buy? After pondering, eliminating, and finally deciding with Noreen's help, I am the new owner of three fabulous pieces: a one of a kind necklace from the Czech Republic, a hand blown glass pair of earrings and an amazing pair of multi-colored sparkly crystal earrings. All three are amazing!!! I love buying jewelry while on vacation because when I wear it, I remember where we were and the fun we had. Thank you Debonair and Noreen for helping me add to my collection. I'll be back!"
"today i was in your store and the sales lady was very rude. i was looking at a wallet and pulled the tag out to see price, i did not put the price tag back in the zippered part of wallet because it was getting stuck in zipper. the elderly sales lady came up behind me, rolled her eyes and made a loud noise with her mouth of disgust. i apologized, and i was highly considering buying the wallet, but after her display of disgust, i decided to leave the store. i was in amelia island last weekend and it was late in afternoon so the store was closed, i was looking foward to coming back this weekend to shop there. unfortunately because of her actions, not only did she lose the sale, but i will not return."
"CLASS AND TOLERANCE OUT OF STOCK I wanted to bring an incident that occurred in your shop on this day (February 4, 2022) @ 1215. I entered your store with the intention to purchase gifts for the family. As I was looking at the bags on display, I was on the phone to get an opinion. At that moment the store clerk (elderly woman with short curly blond hair) standing behind the counter raised her voice angrily and told me to turn off the phone because she doesn't need to hear my conversation. She was very annoyed about it as if she just awoke from a catnap behind the register. The conversation that I was having was in a foreign language and evidently she was bothered by it. Not only was she completely unprofessional but above all, it felt very RACIST! The store was completely empty and she didn't even take the time to welcome me as customer or offer her assistance but instead reprimand me for using my phone in her store. This is such poor representation of your boutique that has such vulgar customer service. Not only did you lose my business that day but I will pass this story along so that no one else faces this type of mistreatment and injustice in your store or at least they know what to expect from this sales person (who refused to provide me with her name). I hope that in good faith, you remedy this matter because it’s not good for business to mistreat your customers especially due to intolerance and prejudice! Your non response is proof enough of the kind of business you run."
"The sign and outside of the shop looks very cheap and tacky. The inside has nice designer stuff though and would be a very nice store. Unfortunately the elderly lady working the register was VERY rude and unprofessional to a customer for no reason, which caused me to immediately leave the store. This island is too cute and sweet to support people like that when every other store has the KINDEST people ever, and just as nice of things to buy from different designers. I don’t know if this elderly lady was the owner or just an employee, and hopefully it was just a fluke and the store doesn’t continue to lose patronage because of her."
"Mrs. Noreen was the sweetest. Such a beautiful, classy woman. We spoke about our mutual love of cruising and my love of all things ses turtle. What a beautifully appointed store. I bought myself the perfect souvenir!! Traveling is my passion and this shop will always be a must do on my trips to Amelia!!!"
