Kuiper Construction

"What follows is a list of construction jobs completed at my home by Jon Kuiper: 1) Replaced Berber carpet and vinyl flooring with bamboo planks throughout entire home. 2) Later replaced planks that sustained water damage due to a leaking water heater; about ¼ of the home’s flooring. 3) Adjusted clearance of both front door and door to garage from living room, and replaced door trim. 4) Replaced eroded outdoor portion of garage door frame. 5) Replaced vinyl flooring in both bathrooms with ceramic tile. 6) Replaced damaged baseboards and drywall in garage on wall adjacent to home. 7) Repaired damaged portion of roof with new asphalt shingles. 8) Installed television antenna on roof top. 9) Installed a treated wood barrier in garage to contain melted ice and water, keeping it from migrating into home. 10) Built solid wooden shelving in garage for storage. 11) Assisted with construction of a brick patio. 12) Repaired bathroom towel rack. I have been well pleased with Jon’s work in every single one of these projects. He is skilled and meticulous with regard to details. His charges have always been carefully outlined in advance of his work, and I have found them reasonable. Jon is a real craftsman, and I hope to have his continued assistance with ongoing projects."

"I hired Kuiper construction to do several jobs for me in the past. It started with a gate that separates my back yard to the carport and alley. The gate was damaged by 50 mph wind one year and was not working. Jon fixed this for me. My next job for him was installing a decorative back screen door. Since I was pleased with his work and trustworthyness I hired him to install a new kitchen and bathroom floor while we went to Florida to get away from the winter. We came back and were amazed at the quality of work that was done. We had several different cuts that had to be made going around the kitchen and family room met. I don’t know how he figured that out but we were both impressed with his work"

"I own a 1925 California bungalow. I hired Jon for inside work on flooring, a back splash tiled in the kitchen. Outside he replaced weathered wooden shingles and painted to match existing shingles. His work gave a new look to the house. The screens on my porch were damaged. I wanted to replace the screens to be a 3 season porch and protect. "Kuiper construction put new flooring throughout my home a few years back. To date the floors look awesome. They showed up every day at the time they said they would . While here they worked, they were not talking on their cell phones while at the same time charging me hourly. Jon also met up with me at the local Home Depot to pick up additional materials as needed. They cleaned up their work area every day when finished. He was particular in his work and it shows. I Recommend him highly ..if I had to do floors again I would have him do it."
