"Walked from our hotel. Nice stroll along the Mississippi. Sat at the bar. Plenty of open seats. Not too busy on a Saturday night. 5 people behind the bar making drinks. 1 quite busy, the other 4 more interested in conversing with each other than attending to customers. Had to flag one down to place our drink order. Drinks came quickly and my specialty drink was delicious. Took another long time to get someone's attention to get refills and order food. Food came quickly, was hot and really good. I wasn't impressed with it being tossed onto the bar and no one offered utensils or napkins. My husband finally got up, walked around and came back with some cocktail napkins. Over all: Nice place, good drinks and food, terrible service. All bar staff need lessons on keeping attention on the customer."

"Little confusing as where to enter. Have to go to inside to order & then they bring your food out to you. Ordered B.A.L.T. sandwich which was delicious & huge. Lovely setting by the river. Will be back"

"Young lady that brought our food out was rude. One order was wrong, trying to talk the girl was like talking to the wall. When food was brought out the 2nd time. It was right but very very rude young lady. I will really have to think twice to go back there. Food was good."

"Beautiful new Turnwater Restaurant at the marina. Loved the layout, views of the river, bar separate from dining area, large party room. Line to order got a little backed up with staff having to cut through to get to the dining area but no biggie. Food was fast but not perfect. Buffalo sauce left out of my buffalo wrap and was told fruit would have strawberries blueberries and pineapple. No strawberries but they probably ran out. Good onion rings. Overall I will be back to try other items and enjoy the view. Great thing for Fort Madison. Best wishes!"

"Firstly: give this place some time to work out the kinks. If you go on a Friday night when there are 3-4 proms going on & everyone from 6 counties has decided to join you, a delay is to be expected. But when it's been 1.5 hours, tip your server extra & they will make sure that you get your food pronto. Also, buy beer in a can & ask for a glass. That's $1.50 savings that you can also add to their tip. Last please try again later not on a busy night. I will & expect an update."
