"I would not recommend this home health care office. They were disorganized (misplaced orders, scheduling). I had PT orders for 2-3 times per week and outside the initial in-home assessment, I only received actual therapy Jan. 4, 5, and10. My next appointment was for a week later on Jan. 17, however the therapist was a no show and did not notify me until the next day wanting to know if he could come that day (18th). I advised him that would not be necessary and I was requesting to be released and I would pursue another PT provider. It was during this time the therapist informed me "It's a battle we fight also with scheduling.". On Jan. 11 I received and OT assessment. I asked the therapist if my doctor had requested the assessment and was told YES. I thought that to be add as I was pretty certain the doctor did not even know who I was using for in-home therapy. I In fact learned on Feb. 20 during my 2nd follow-up with my doctor that they did NOT request an OT assessment. As far as the therapists goes, they were each polite, friendly, and respectful."
"Wasn’t pleased with any of their services. The therapist both OT and pt where always on their computer not watching what the patient was doing. Therapy was not good at all they where always in a rush. I would not recommend them to anyone."
"Recently I had the misfortune to experience this Home Health company. My doctor prescribed home health. However, just when it started, I had a bad fall, ended up in ER, with ALOT of contusions everywhere plus a cracked rib. Very painful and on strong pain medications. I'am already disabled so this made things even alot worse. Instead of calling the doctor and explaining how much pain I was having and report the fall, this pt thought I was going to go ahead and do normal pt. I was in alot of pain with every breathe. He appeared to be offended and could not understand. The two nurses that came out were nice enough but not one of them after giving me their word, that they would find out why the emergency nurse on call never called my doctor. I called her on a sat, night crying in pain and she promised she would get in contact with my doctor. Never happened and never heard a word. I told the nurse that weekend that I had called. I waited a week. Nothing. The next Sat. the nurse came back out and told him nobody ever contacted about my pain. He promised that he himself would contact me Monday or no later than Tuesday. Guess what, NEVER happened. They discharged which was great because they were doing absolutely nothing for me. Today, I get a phone message from a lady from the company. Wanting to come here today. There were kids screaming around the phone, she's hollering at the kids inbetween leaving the message for me. Then she must have thought she had hung up, because she continued to holler at the kids, saying stuff about me that I had supposed to have done and laughing. Then finally she hung up. I worked 20 years in nursing and 15 years in law enforcement. This is not the way it is suppose to be done. confidentiality Among other things such as caring obviously is not part of their conduct. I'm sure the nursing board and superiors would be interested in hearing this message that she left. In my opinion, this was the worse Home Health Agency I have ever seen. I would not intrust them with my cat. And by the way....uh no she's not coming here today."
