Exciting opportunities are available within our community! We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to join the Lee County Conservation Board for a new five-year term starting in January 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the preservation and enhancement of our natural resources.
For those interested in public safety and health services, Lee County EMS is now accepting applications for part-time Paramedics. Ideal candidates will possess a high school diploma or equivalent, Iowa (or compact state) Paramedic Certification, a valid driver's license, and current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. PHTLS and 911 experience are preferred but not required.
Additionally, a detailed report of expenses related to the Newberry Center building in Fort Madison is available, covering the period from July 1, 2019, through June 30, 2024. This report underscores our commitment to financial transparency and responsible management of county resources.
