About the Business
Welcome to First Baptist Church of Keokuk, a beacon of faith and community located at 25 North 8th Street, Keokuk, Iowa. We invite you to join us on a journey through God's Big Story, where the ancient prophecies of the Old Testament and the pivotal events of Matthew 26-28 come alive, revealing the core of the gospel: the death, burial, resurrection, and appearance of our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Cor 15:1-5).
At First Baptist, we believe that every individual's story can find its place within God's grand narrative. No matter your past, you are welcome here. By believing in the Lord Jesus Christ, you can begin a transformative journey, living in light of His redemptive history. We warmly invite you to visit us on Sundays to share your story and discover the Story of God.
Our church is committed to being a blessing to the city of Keokuk. We achieve this through engaging worship services, insightful Bible studies, and thoughtful newspaper and radio messages. We also partner with other churches and community organizations to extend our reach and impact.
In response to community needs, we have established a food pantry and clothes rack, open every third Thursday of the month from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. If you or someone you know is in need, we are here to help.
While our Sunday night and Wednesday night youth worship services are on hold, we plan to resume them this fall. For those who prefer or require remote participation, we broadcast our Sunday service at 10 a.m. on FM 90.1.
Thank you for visiting our website. We look forward to meeting you and sharing in the fellowship of faith. Come and be part of something greater at First Baptist Church of Keokuk.

Reviews
"My daughter attended the youth service tonight and got soda dumped all over her and nothing was done. The delinquent that did it was older then my daughter. We will not be allowing her to go back. We don't think bullier in church is a good look on their part. It was in poor taste to think a badly behaved child would be different in a church setting."
"Very nice"
"Great preaching friendly people Great Sunday school"
"The people were kind but not as inviting as I'd like, yet the service they held was trully inspirational. The chapel is beautiful and very decorative. So a Great place for a wedding in retrospect."
"Love the congregation and the Pastor! They always make you feel welcomed here in the Lord's house!"
