Anytime I’ve had a dead battery or needed a service they have been prompt in coming to pick it up and bring it back when the job is done. I’ve also torn it up in the middle of cutting grass and he brought me one so I could finish cutting while he put mine back together. Hometown service that can’t be beat!"

"Dropped off my 2019 Scag Cheetah mower February 2024 under 900hrs, was told it would only take 1 week to repair & replace piston. Called back since I had no call back & was told piston was on back order from Vanguard. Called back towards end of March & still no piston. Ran into Vanguard sales rep at Vidalias Onion Festival & told me their parts are all in stock & ready to ship. In April they told me they had the piston & would only take a week to install. It’s now May 28, 2024. I just paid almost $1800 in parts & labor. I was billed for new fuel filter, new blades, & other parts, but the blades are my original badly worn blades & the fuel filter hasn’t been changed. 30 day warranty is all I was given on the engine. Very Bad customer service & will never recommend or do business here again!"

"Bought our mower from them. Our deck belt broke and they couldn't put a new one on for us for well over a week due to being backed up. (I went ahead and replaced it myself) We also have them service our mower every off season ($150+ depending on parts). I may be overreacting but, I'm pretty sure all the customers who's mowers they were working on weren't having them serviced every off season. Heck, some of them probably didn't even buy their mower from them??? (Don't know that for a fact) All I'm saying is they might want to show their loyal customers a little more appreciation."

"Beware...took my weedeater in for fuel lines. I called when I didn't get a call for pickup and was told that my pull start assembly was faulty and still would not start and a new one was 67. I said no i would just pick up. I had no trouble starting my unit it would crank just not stay cranked. And when told that they asked to look at again to make sure something wasn't done on their part. By the wnd of the following week I called and they said it was ready that they had a unit they took the part off of and it was 42. 30 for the fuel lines. 12 for the used part. I didn't even ask for them to put on a used part. Nor authorize it. When I picked up and got home I noticed that the unit had someone else's initial carved on the bottom. When confronted they admitted to not recording my serial on the paper work and insisted it was mine."
